Christopher "Deep" Henderson is a multi platinum, Grammy Award winning songwriter and music producer whose hits include Jamie Foxx's "Blame It" and "Happily Ever After" by Case. In a career now spanning over 17 years, this 3 time ASCAP Award recipient has worked on several gold, platinum & multi-platinum projects for artists like R. Kelly, Trey Songz, G-Unit, Mya, Jacob Latimore and many more. He was listed among Billboard Magazine's Top 5 Hot Hip-hop/R&B Producers of 2009 and was even recognized a decade earlier among Billboard Magazine's Top 20 Hot Hip-hop/R&B Producers of 1999.
Born in Detroit and raised in Southfield Michigan, Christopher participated in various city & statewide talent shows with bandmates Terry Dexter & Rod Lumpkin Jr. However, he officially started his music production career in Hampton Virginia with some guidance and exposure from Teddy Riley. He now resides in the Atlanta area where he owns and operates Deep Productions, Deep Recording House and Gifted Source Music Publishing (which is currently partnered with Sony ATV).
As an active voting member of the Grammy Association (NARAS), Christopher regularly hosts & participates in songwriter-producer workshops for various community organizations and charities. He started SongBuildersTV as a platform to educate and entertain. It aims to present professional insights, tools & techniques while giving the viewer a front row seat to the creative process & new music in progress.
